Thread Season 3 Episode 11: Why a disciple of Jesus must (necessarily) be weird

Published on: 9th May, 2017

Fitting in. Being accepted by others. These are key social drives that can hinder us in our efforts to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. He was notoriously out of sync with culture, family, and friends in His day. Truth sets you free but it also calls you to live out of response to what you now know is true. The disciple is a student of truth and truth is an opportunity to enter the freedom of the mind. It's up to us to take it.
